WAZZZZUP!

Ive always told myself if you're going to create something of value, I should have a clear vision and commit to my decisions.

I love the freedom of creating something with the intentions of self expression. I got tired of mediocrity, instead I decided to revive my soul. As I have aged I lost direction in what it means to have purpose. In better words, what is the purpose of my own art and does it have value?

So instead of fighting endless thoughts that have been collected over the years in my mind, I just whipped the slate clean. The only thing that came to mind was, F#CK I miss building cars to go touge. So I decided right there and then I would start my life right back where I last remember being filled to the rim with passion and joy. Let me tell yea I don't regret it at all. I gave up everything I once thought was important and instead put all my energy into this project. Am I a great drifter? naaa man but Im a great artist and I love touge. So I decided I would create a reality to share with everyone.

Man this project has been crazy, I keep pouring an infinite of energy into each and every panel. Its gritty and raw. I can draw as I like too. Loose and with heavy contrasts thus bringing out such rich dynamics in the scenes and movement. Some may ask? what are your influences? I would say Akira, Ghost in the shell, Ninja Scroll, Osaka Kanjo Tribe and Intial D . Yes everyone loves Initial D just as much as I did but there was something missing. This rawness that came from drifting and touge really stems from grass root culture in my eyes at least. I love touge for its gritty and unfiltered lifestyle. So I recreated those experiences, those moments of feeling alive and without a regret to be doing what one loves. Im creating something thats shows the evolution of the community as a whole. Touge is wild man, that fact we still love this makes us crazy! Doesn't matter if it's Drift or Grip, touge or circuit, even track or street. What matters is as a community we continue to bring others in and share our knowledge so we can all grow, thrive and do the things we love!

Everyone is on phones and the tube that theres no creative minds stepping up to put something out there so I was like ... hmmm I will! Man I know a lot of you are devoted to this sport in ways many will never understand. Im definitely not a pro driver nor do I believe I know everything about building cars, or running those gnarliest laps but I love to constantly learn and evolve my passions. Simply I just enjoy touge, I love being outside and feeling death one step away and learning to hold hands with it. I love the flow state, come'on... we all know what thats like. In a instant, its over... Your car is resting from the beat down it just survived and you're sitting there thinking man, do I have enough gas to make it home after burning through a few laps hahaha.

This comic/manga is more of slice of life than a sports racing competition. Just daily shenanigans from people that want to live life outside the ordinary and really thrive in elements of chaos with style. Theres something about building cars and pushing our skills as drivers that just really brings life to some of us. Even track events have the same state of conviction. Its for passion of Style!

Well... enough of me rambling on and on why I created this. Damn feels good to share this master piece with all of you! I really appreciate everyones support cause this what I do. I make art! For you guys and me! Let's see where this takes us all... some of you might end up building a car again or maybe this book will bring back memories of the times spent chasing your dreams or maybe its just a good laugh. Its just comic book guys haha.

Well thats it for today. Finally finished the webpage. Not sure what Im doing with all of this but Ill just keep working harder and harder on this till all the pieces come together!
